Rishikesh a place which is also known as the ‘Yoga Capital of the world’ is located in the foothills on the vast Himalayan Mountain ranges. It is nearby the banks of Ganges where practising yoga always attracts the local and foreign tourists.
Here in this post, I will share my experience of practising yoga on the banks of the river Ganga, i.e. Rishikesh.
Peaceful Location
Rishikesh offers eternal peace to its visitors and that most of the visitors from the all over the get yoga training. Nearby the Ganga River provide a holistic serenity to the practitioners and to attain peace of mind in the lap of nature.
Spiritual Tranquility
Experiencing yoga on the banks of Ganga is most memorable moments of life my life. This is due to refined touch our ancients have left at that place. You will see the purity of traditional yogic forms which is very difficult to find in city yoga classes.
Traditional practices
I have learned some of the most conventional yoga forms from the banks of river Ganga. These are Hath Yoga, Power Yoga, Kriya Yoga, Pranayam, Meditation, and Yoga asna for body relaxation. All practices are the same that our saints used follow backs around 5000 years ago. Moreover, here you can enjoy the taste satvik meal prescribed by Ayurveda.
Nature at its peak
Rishikesh is the place isolated from commercialisation. Here you will find not the continually running vehicles, and fast-paced life. This place will give you the eternal sense of self-consciousness because of the fresh air, water and food.
Best Institutes
Training centres in Rishikesh have the best mentors to guide the students during yoga sessions. For those who are looking for yoga teacher training course, this bank of Ganga is the perfect place to learn and experience the power of ancient Indian body science and naturopathy.
